On March 5, 2006, I was sitting next to the Provo river on a quiet, warm, sunny Sunday afternoon. Sam knelt down next to me and asked me to marry him. I said yes. Much smiling, giggling, ring-gazing, and kissing ensued. Eventually we came back to my apartment and my roommate Emily took this picture. Later that evening, Sam said, "I had no idea how excited and happy you would be"-- not that he was hoping for any vastly different reaction.Over two and a half years later, we're as happy as clams. A couple days ago, Sam and I, with Anna in the stroller, were walking and talking. It was so nice-- me and my little family. "I'm glad we have a good marriage," I told Sam. We do, and I am. On any given day, Sam comes home from work, and much smiling, giggling, Anna-gazing, and kissing ensues. It's the good life.

Lonnie and I combined our digital photos when we got married, so when I picked the fourth, fourth fourth...it was one of Lonnie's photos that I he took before we were even married. Maybe I will pick the fourth photo of my photos....:)

What a good day that was! As I recall, the first thing you did when you walked in the door was hold up your left hand. I was so excited for you! And...I noticed when you did your t-let giveaway that you said only a few people regularly read your blog. Well, add me to the list. I've read it regularly for a long time, I'm just not good about leaving comments. That's all. :)
