The first year I was there, it was the wettest year on record (or pretty close), but after that it was almost an entire year before it really rained again. There was fog that "watered the earth with a mist" but no rain. It go so that I was actively craving a real midwest thunderstorm.<br /><br />But honestly, you're right.
